XpanD is an international authority in 3D cinemas and technology platforms. Today they announced the release of their newest 3D glasses, the X101 Series. These glasses use a core 3D viewing technology called “pi-cell” that is a specialized, fast-switching liquid crystal cell that provides rapid stereoscopic shutter action to deliver alternate right and left eye images. The glasses have a streamline appearance that optimizes guest experience, comfort, and it helps keep the glasses from being tangled. The bright red color also helps deter viewers from stealing the glasses when the movie is over.
