Wireless technology is one of the many concepts that are expected to grow this year. Edimax Technology is one of the leading manufacturers of networking and connectivity solutions. Recently, they announced the release of their newest product, the WP-S1000. This device uses a secure 802.11b/g networking connection to allow users to access any projector connected to the network with out the use of a cable connection. The WP-S1000 is compatible with virtually any projector that has an RGB/VGA connection and is quick and easy to install. This device comes with some incredible functions including Plug and Show installation software, dynamic login codes for enhanced security, video streaming playback, and a friendly web-based user interface. The WP-S1000 supports up to a QXGA (2048 x 1536) resolution as well as Windows Vista, XP Home, and professional with SP2. The WP-S1000 is currently available through authorized retailers, but unfortunately a retail price was not released.
