Sanyo is pleased to announce the release of their latest low cost, HD projector, the PLV-1080HD. You may have heard about this model last year, but now it is finally available to order for the retail price of $1999. The 1080HD features full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 1200 ANSI lumens, and a 10000:1 contrast ratio. Using 3LCD display technology this projector is able to display images up to 300 inches, diagonally from a long throw distance up 60 feet, so make sure you have plenty of room if you want a big display. The 1080HD comes with dual HDMI and dual component connections as well as an s-video, composite, and a RGB connection. The PLV-1080HD comes with a lens-shifting system for flexible placement; however it does not come with keystone adjustment. The PLV-1080HD is available through the Sanyo website.
