Syndicant Inc Announces Talks with Customers for SYL2010 Display Chip

Syndiant Inc is a fables semiconductor company that designs manufacturers’ chips for ultra portable projectors and cell phones. Recently they announced that they are talking with more than 30 manufacturers to use their SYL2010 display chip for future pocket projectors and phone projectors. The display chip is capable of displaying WVGA (800 x 480) resolution and works best with an LED or laser light source. The chip is less than a quarter inch wide, which makes it ideal for embedded or companion projectors. “We are receiving feedback from customers that indicates that the embedded pico-projector market is going to take off much sooner and will be much larger than has been previously forecasted,” said Mark Harward, CEO of Syndiant. “Our VueG8® has been compared by customers and is found to have significant advantages in cost, power, resolution, size and image quality over competing devices. We deliver higher resolution images at lower cost and without the speckle of laser beam steering systems.” The chip is currently available for immediate shipping.
