BUG Labs Announce BUGprojector Module at CES 09

The designers at BUG Labs must have had Legos on their mind when they designed their BUG modules. Each module is a different device that can connect to the BUGbase, which is a fully programmable computer. The base uses a built in battery and features a USB input, Ethernet, MMC, and serial interfaces. BUG Labs has recently announced their newest modules that are compatible with the BUGbase, including one that is a pico projector. The BUGprojector uses DLP display technology, provided by Texas Instruments, and features 9 ANSI lumens, and a 430 x 320 resolution. The projector is capable of displaying videos, photos, or even presentations. The BUGprojector is the first product that Bug Labs has created with the help of an outside company. Unfortunately, BUG Labs has not released any additional information about this projector, but you can see them at CES in Las Vegas. Some of the other modules that are being displayed include a 20-mm speaker and microphone module, a 3G mobile radio, a dual-function Bluetooth and Wi-Fi module, and a low-powered radio module. All of these modules are compatible with the BUGbase and can be interchanged to fit the needs of the user.
