Last month Sim2 announced their latest projector that would join the C3X series, the Grand Cinema C3X LUMIS HOST. This projector features 3000 ANSI lumens, a 35000:1 contrast ratio, and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. It also uses the latest in DLP display technology comes with a HOST processor that can accommodate up to 6 HDMI connections as well as your basic analog connections. The LUMIS uses a new ALPHATH light engine that allows the brightness to be dimmed from 3000 ANSI lumens to about 1200 ANSI lumens. Sim2 plans to display the LUMIS along with the C3X 1080 projector at CES this week. The C3X 1080 features full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and a 10000:1 contrast ratio. It comes with two HDMI connections as well as an s-video, composite, and a RGB input. These projectors will be at the Sim2 display at booth Hilton Hosp Ste 2910.
