Optoma Pico Projector Review

The Optoma Pico projector is about the size of a candy bar and weighs only 0.3 lbs. It features 9 ANSI lumens, a 480 x 320 resolution, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Recently, the writers from Mobile Tech Addicts got their hands on the Pico and released their review. They size of this device was one of the most amazing things the writers liked about this projector. The Pico measures in at 2.0″ x 0.6″ x 4.1″ (W x H x D) and weighs less than half a pound. The only problem the writer had with this projector was connecting it to a video device. This problem was that Pico only has one AV input slot and supplies a cable that has VGA, composite video, and an audio connection all in one. This cable along with the power cord reduces the overall portability of the projector. The writer commented that the picture displayed was fantastic, but he also mentions that he is not a cinema or HD expert and this is only a pocket projector and not a full sized projector. The final conclusion given about the Pico projector was, “The Optoma Pico Pocket Projector is a fantastic tiny projector. As I said earlier if you travel a lot and enjoy watching your own media content then this device is perfect to slip in your briefcase and take along for the ride, no need for pay TV in your hotel room anymore. Not sure if I would rely on this for a business presentation but for personal use I would give this a massive thumbs up.”
