Canon has recently announced the release of two new projectors into the Middle East. The XEED SX7, and XEED X700 both features 4000 ANSI lumens, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and LCoS display technology. Both models weigh only 10.6 lbs and are designed to be quick and easy to setup and easy to transport between presentations. In addition, the X700 is able to display a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and the SX7 can display a higher SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) resolution. “With the XEED SX7 and XEED X700, Canon is taking the XEED range to the next level,” said Sam Oommen, Product Manager Canon Middle East. “Unique Canon technologies make them the most powerful ultra-portable LCOS projectors on the market. The high-end XEED SX7 is ideal for AV professionals, while the XEED X700 delivers seamless LCOS quality at an incredible price.” Both models come with a DVI-I, RGB, s-video, composite, audio, and a 1 watt speaker system to play any audio with out needing external speakers. Both the XEED SX7 and X700 can be found on the Canon website, however the retail prices have not been released.
