NEC Releases NP400, NP500, and NP600 Projectors in India

NEC is proud to announce the release of three new projectors that are being released in India, the NP400, NP500, and the NP600. All three models feature the latest in LCD display technology as well as a 500:1 contrast ratio and XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. The only major difference between these three is their brightness. The NP400 features 2500 ANSI lumens, while the NP500 can display 3000 ANSI lumens, and the NP600 has 3500 ANSI lumens. The main feature this trio shares is the virtual remote function, which allows a user to control the projector with out the use of the supplied remote control. Instead, a user can connect the VGA cable and control the projector through their laptop or PC. In addition, these projectors also are equipped with an Eco mode which provides a 4000 hour lamp life and energy-efficient operation. “Cost-efficiency is always an important aspect within the education sector, but smaller and medium-sized enterprises also attach great importance to a low TCO. Hence, NEC Display Solutions has introduced particular features into the new all-rounder NP projector series that save energy and reduce operating costs,” adds Rajiv Bhalla, country head, marketing, NEC India Pvt Ltd. The NP400, NP500, and NP600 are currently available through the NEC website and would make excellent choices for any meeting room or classroom. Their suggested retail prices are $899, $1099, and $1499, respectively.
