Christie Releases 4LCD LX700 Projector

Christie has recently announced their newest projector, the LX700. This projector is the second model to feature 4LCD display technology, the first being the Sanyo PLC-XP200L. The LX700 features a 2200:1 contrast ratio, XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, and 7000 ANSI lumens. The fourth LCD panel introduces a new yellow panel the already green, blue, and red display panels you would find in a normal 3LCD projector. The yellow display panel provides a 20% increase to the color gamut as well as deeper reds and better flesh tones with out compromising brightness. The LX700 comes with a variety of connections, including BNC, RGB, s-video, and component inputs. The other major feature about the LX700 is the AutoFilter system increases the filter’s life to over 10000 hours. The system automatically detects dirt clogs on the filter screen and automatically roles to a fresh filter sheet. The LX700 is currently available through the Christie website, but unfortunately, the retail price is not being released.
