Sanyo has announced a new projector that will be released in the UK, January 2009. The PLC-XTC50L does not have a lot of information available right now, but we do know that will be equipped with Sanyo’s Active Maintenance Filer System, which automatically detects dirt and clogs and changes the filter by itself. The XTC50L will also feature a two lamp system that can switch between the two to double the projector’s lamp life. This system was also announced in the upcoming LP-XTC50 projector that is also expected to release in January. The LP-XTC50 model features 5000 ANSI lumens, an 1100:1 contrast ratio and a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. Unfortunately, the retail price for the PLC-XTC50L is not released yet. More information about this projector will be released as it becomes available.
