Christie Provides Projectors For Discovery World

Discovery World in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a state-of-the-art building that is designed for the latest technology. The building features two major theaters, the Shel and Marianne Lubar Innovation Theater and the Aquatarium. Christie was recently selected to provide their top of the line CP2000 series projectors for the theaters. The projectors will be paired with a 12 foot x 21 foot screen in the Innovation Theater, and a 15 foot x 27 foot screen in the Aquatarium. Christie was selected for these theaters because of their reliability and consistent high performance. Discovery World president and CEO, Joel Brennan said “From the first day of installation, the projectors have performed wonderfully, even under heavy and constant use. The most we’ve done is replace bulbs and perform basic, preventative maintenance. They also allow Discovery World optimal networkability, giving our technicians the ability to monitor projector performance remotely through our network.” Discovery World will also use several smaller Christie projectors for the various meeting rooms and event spaces. Christie offers several models in their CP2000 series; however, the exact models that was used for the Discovery World building was not released.
