Samsung has recently announced the release of their SP-D400 projector. This model is both classy and portable. With a black sleek look, this projector displays 4000 ANSI lumens, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, a XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, and it uses the new DarkChip4 DLP chipset provided by Texas Instruments. The high contrast ratio and even higher brightness level, the SP-D400 is able to display images in just about any room, including rooms with a lot of light. In addition, this model weighs less than 8 lbs so you can bring it with you. The D400 is HD compatible and has an HDMI input as well as a composite, s-video, component, and RGB connection. The SP-D400 is currently available through Samsung retailers, however the retail price has not been announced.
