Shadow Boxing the High Tech Way

One of the newest fads growing in Europe is a system called Remote Impact: Shadow Boxing over a Distance. The system allows you and other people to fight one another in a safe and friendly environment. The setup has a padded screen that is mounted on the wall. The screen can detect when, where, and how hard the screen is being hit. A camera is mounted behind you to record your movements and relays them to your opponent’s screen, and vise versa. The system uses a projector to display a silhouette, or shadow, version of yourself and your opponent onto the screen along with a score board. The game begins when the timer starts. Players have to kick, punch, or body slam your opponent’s shadow, while trying to avoid being hit by your opponent. Your score depends on how hard you hit and how many times you hit. The player with the most points when the timer stops wins. Remote Impact is also capable of detecting multiple hits, simultaneously, allowing for team boxing. The system can also be mounted on the floor for wrestlers who want to practice their moves. The developers of Remote Impact guarantee that using the system will guarantee a good hard each time you use it.
