Sony Releases VPL-FX41L Projector

Last week we told you about the release of the Sony VPL-FX41 projector. This projector features 5200 ANSI lumens, XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and a 900:1 contrast ratio. Recently, Sony announced the twin brother model, the VPL-FX41L. This projector has the features and specifications of the FX41. The only different is that the FX41L does not come with a lens. Instead, Sony has offered four brand new optional lenses that can be fitted to the FX41L. These lenses range from short to long through distances and are designed to be changed easily with out the help of technicians. In addition, The FX41L comes with a variety of connections including RGB, composite, s-video, 5BNC, HDMI, and audio inputs. This projector is also relatively light, allowing for easier installation or allowing for easy travel between uses. The VPL-FX41L retails for $6000, which is much lower than the VPL-FX41 ($6270).
