A few days ago we introduced the SMART Table that is allows kids to enjoy games and learning activities on a multi-touch table. The Table uses an IR camera and projector to allow an unlimited amount of users to interact with the program being displayed. Recently the writers at Engadget had to opportunity to see the SMART Table being used by several kids. Some of the programs that were displayed were a shape matching game, a writing practice program and an photo file. These are only a few of the many programs that the SMART table has to offer. When it is released in spring 2009, teachers will be able to alter the existing programs to their learning program or create new ones and upload them into the SMART Table via USB connection.
