At CEDIA, Belkin announced that the Belkin FlyWire will be available before the end of October. Recently Belkin announced that they are delaying the release until April 2009. The FlyWire is able to transmit HD (1920 x 1080) resolution signals through a wireless connection. This device will come in two versions, one designed for connecting with in a single room. The other version will be able to connect devices that are in different rooms. Both versions use a 5 GHz band to transmit images and handle up to three HDMI inputs, two components, and a composite input. The price for the FlyWire will be just under $1500 or $700, depending on which version that you choose.
