Samsung Korea has recently announced three new projectors, the SP-A900, SP-D400, and the SP-L300. Samsung is not releasing a lot of information about these projector but they are releasing just enough to peek our interest. Samsung also has not released pricing or a release date.
The SP-A900 is the biggest of the trio offering full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a 12000:1 contrast ratio and 1000 ANSI lumens. It will also have the Darkchip4 DLP chipset from Texas Instruments. The A900 will also come with HDMI connectivity.
The SP-D400 is the little brother of the A900. It has the same DLP display technology and resolution. However, it features a smaller 3000:1 contrast ratio and 4000 ANSI lumens. The D400 will also have HDMI connectivity.
Lastly, the SP-L300 is the odd ball of the group, featuring 3LCD display technology and 3000 ANSI lumens. The L300 will have HD resolution, although it is not known if it will be full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution or the lesser 720p HD (1280 x 720) resolution. The L300 will even come with two 3 watt speakers for a quality stereo sound.
