Projectiondesign recently announced that they have received the European Manufacturer of the year award, for the second year running, at the 10th annual AV awards in UK. The awards are judged by an independent panel of expert AV professionals. The judges commented, “projectiondesign has demonstrated how well a projection manufacturer can grow, even if it makes its products in Europe. Features of projectiondesign’s developments include the launch of its new WUXGA and avielo home cinema ranges, but has also invested heavily in its Certified Production Specialist (CPS) training and certification program, in international distribution, roadshows, and its website…. projectiondesign’s strong financial performance and focused entry won out… (and) judges highlighted projectiondesign’s continued investment and innovation.” The Avielo series was released in August and consists of three new home theater projectors, the spectra, optix, and prisma. All three projectors feature 720p or 1080p HD resolution as well as DLP display technology.
