Sony has recently announced the release of two new home theater projectors in the UK, the VPL-HW10 and the VPL-VW80. Both projectors use the latest SXRD display technology and feature full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. They even have the same input connections, including a component, s-video, composite, RGB, and two HDMI connections. The VPL-VW80 features 800 ANSI lumens and a 60000:1 contrast ratio that is sure to create detailed images that only high end projectors can create. The VW80 also comes with the Motionflow feature that allows the projector to display smooth, defined pictures during fast action scenes. The VPL-HW10 is equally powerful in its own way. This projector features 1000 ANSI lumens and a 30000:1 contrast ratio. The HW10 is able to bring the theater to your home with the ability to project images up to 300 inches, diagonally. In addition to the release, Sony has also announced that they will be offering free gifts if you order one before the end of the year. Depending on which model you order, you get a choice between a Play Station 3, a Blu-ray player, or free replacement lamps. Unfortunately, the retail prices for the VW80 and HW10 has not been released yet.
