Epson Releases EB-1730W Projector

The Epson EB-1730W is one of the newest projectors to be released. It features 3000 ANSI lumens, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The 1730W is one of Epson’s lightest projectors, weighing only 3.7 lbs. This model also comes with an s-video, composite, and a RGB connection as well as a 1 watt speaker system for all your video and audio needs. The projector uses a low power 170 watt lamp, designed by Epson, which can run for up to 4000 hours. In addition, the 1730W comes with a unique feature that shuts off the video and audio when you move the sliding lens cap. This feature is good when you need to grab the attention of your guests during your presentation, or when teachers need to stop there lesson for troublesome students. Unfortunately, the EB-1730W is only available in Europe and Asia.
