Toshiba has recently announced the launch of one of their biggest conference room projectors, the TDP-WX5400U. This projector is built for large conference rooms as well as auditoriums and large venue events. The WX5400U features a 2400:1 contrast ratio, a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, and 5400 ANSI lumens with the help of dual 280 watt lamps. This model comes with a variety of connections including, RGB, DVI, BNC, RCA, component, s-video, and several audio inputs. You can even network the WX5400U with the use of the RJ-45 LAN connection. In addition to all this, the WX5400U also comes with a security password features and a Kensington security lock slot to protect it from theft. When you purchase this projector you also have the option to choose from 5 different lenses, sold separately. Unfortunately Toshiba has not announced any information about these lenses yet. The TDP-WX5400U is currently available for the suggested retail price of $6229 and comes with Toshiba’s three year warranty.
