ViewSonic has recently announced the launch of their newest projector, the PJ359w. This model is both light weight and versatile. It features 2000 ANSI lumens, a 500:1 contrast ratio, and a widescreen WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. The PJ359w weighs only 4 lbs and its dimensions are 10.8″ x 2.3″ x 8.1″ (W x H x D), which makes this projector perfect for traveling presenters. In addition, the PJ359w can support HD video with an HDMI input. It also has a variety of other connections, including two RGB inputs, a composite, s-video, and several audio inputs. The PJ359w come equipped with a short throw lens that is able to produce images up to 300″, diagonally, from less than 40 feet away. ViewSonic includes a three year warranty with the projector as well as a one year warranty for the lamp. The retail price for the PJ359w is just under $1300 and is available through the ViewSonic website.
