Teq AV/IT is a manufacturer of innovative products from merging AV and IT industry and is one of the few companies in the world that has products to show that AV/IT merge. Recently they announced their latest product the TPY372 transmitter. This device is able to transmit HD video over long distances via a CAT6 or CAT5 cable. The TPY372 can connect to any HD source including PCs, Blue-ray Players, Media Players, or Game Consoles and can then be connected to a video output like an HD projector or TV. This device is able to transmit HD signals up to 130 feet at 1080p, 170 feet at 1080i, or 200 feet at 720p over a single UTP cable. HD cables are often not long enough for big presentation and can be expensive the get. The TPY372 transmitter allows the option of using a cheaper, longer wire for your display purposes. This device is ideal for users that have projectors mounted on high ceilings or business owners with big conference rooms. The TPY372 is now available to order through the Teq AV/IT website. Unfortunately, the market price for this device has not been announced.
