Last month, you may have read about the release of the BenQ MP512 ST and MP522 ST projectors. Recently BenQ announced the release of these two projectors in India. The MP512 and MP522 use DLP display technology and weigh less than 5 lbs each. The MP512 ST features 2200 ANSI lumens, SVGA (800 x 600) resolution, and a 2500:1 contrast ratio. It also has an HDMI connection for high definition video. The MP522 ST projector displays a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution as well as a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 2000 ANSI lumens. Both the MP512 and MP522 include a RGB, composite, component, and an s-video input as well as various audio connections. Additionally, both models are equipped with digital light processing technology, provided by Texas Instruments, that produces sharper details. The MP522 and MP512 are priced at INR 50000 ($1044).
