Aiptek Announces Release of PocketCinema V10 Projector

Optoma is not the only company releasing a pocket projector at the end of the month. Aiptek International has also announced that their model, the PocketCinema V10 will also be released on October 25th. This projector is very different from Optoma’s version. The V10 features LCoS display technology and displays a VGA (640 x 480) resolution. This model is also able to display images on screens up to 50 inches diagonally. The V10 comes with a 1G internal memory and a built-in battery for traveling purposes. It even comes with a mini tripod accessory, which allows the presenter to steady the projector. The V10 comes with audio and video composite connections as well as an SD Card slot. The retail price for this projector is around NT$14,800 (US$456). Aiptek has also announced that they plan to release up to five additional pocket projectors between now and the end of next year.
