Toshiba has recently announced that a new their newest projector, the TLP-X150U. This model is built for portability, weighing only 4 lbs and standing 2.8 inches high. The X150U also features 2600 ANSI lumens, XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and a 600:1 contrast ratio. This projector comes with a number of connections including two RGB inputs as well as, s-video, composite, PC audio, and a USB connection. The USB port allows a presenter the option of giving a “PC-free” presentation by connecting a thumbnail drive, with the presentation on it, to the USB port. In addition, the X150U provides a closed caption feature that allows the audience members that are hard of hearing, learning a new language, beginning to read or in a noisy environment. The TLP-X150U is set to retail for $959 and is currently available to order on the Toshiba website.
