Delta Electronics Inc recently announced that they have received two national awards over the weekend. The first is the “Excellent Innovation Achievement Award,” which is the highest award from the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The other is the 2008 “National Invention and Creation Awards — Outstanding Contribution Award” from the Intellectual Property Office of the Taiwan government. Delta received the awards for their devotion to develop innovative, clean and efficient energy solutions. One of the Delta’s products mentioned is their full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution projector that uses LED lights for a lamp source. Regular lamps use mercury and other toxic substances to help create their glow. LED lights do not use any toxic substances and require less energy, which makes them extremely Eco-friendly.
