NTT DoCoMo Inc has really made an impression last week at the CEATEC trade show. Their prototype projector phone features HVGA (480 x 320) resolution and uses three LED lights to produce 7.5 ANSI lumens. Recently footage has been released showing the projector phone in action. The phone is shown displaying an image between 20 and 25 inches, diagonally. The only major concern about the prototype is that the size looks huge, compared to modern phones. NTT said in a previous press release, “it plans to spend three years developing and improving such things as reducing the heat generated, reduce the power consumption, reducing the overall size of the projector, and ultimately reducing the cost before releasing it.”
