3M has recently announced the release of their pocket projector, the MPro110. This projector is about the size of a chunky cell phone, but weighs less than half a pound. The MPro110 is able to display an image between 5 and 50 inches diagonally from only 5 feet away. The projector also displays VGA (640 x 480) resolution with the ability to scale up to WXGA (1280 x 768) resolution. The MPro110 comes with a VGA and composite connection, which is good enough for most electronics. The light source for the MPro110 is an LED light that is able to last for at least 200000 hours. The MPro110 also has an internal battery that is able to run for 40-60 minutes, which is more than enough time for a presentation or a short movie.The only downside about this projector is that it’s only being released in England right now. There is no word yet on when the MPro110 will come to the US. The MPro110 is expected to retail for £300 ($529).
