Epson Releases EB-S6, EB-X6, and EB-W6 Projectors

Epson has recently announced the release of three new business projectors. The EB-S6, EN-X6, and EB-W6 are all very similar in appearance and performance. They all feature 3LCD display technology and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. They also all come with RGB, composite, component, and s-video connection. These projectors would be ideal for any business or traveling presenter to own

The EB-S6 and EB-X6 are almost exact copies of each other. They both feature 2200 ANSI lumens, which is more than enough for a dimly lit room. The only noticeable difference is the resolution and weight of each projector. The EB-S6 features an SVGA (800 x 600) resolution and is the lightest of the three models, weighing only 5.2 lbs. The EB-X6 features the common XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. It is also a little heavier, weighing 6.2 lbs. However, the weight difference between the S6 and X6 is not that significant. The other major difference between these two projectors is their retail prices. The S6 retails for just under $1000, while the X6 retails for $1199.

The EB-W6 is definitely the big brother in the bunch. It features a wide screen WXGA (1280 x 800) with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The only downside to this projector is its 2000 ANSI lumens, which isn’t as bright as the other two models. However, the W6 does have a few extra connections including, USB, an SD card slot, and an HDMI input. The SD card slot allows for computer free slide show presentations. The retail for the W6 is just under $1400.
