BenQ Releases MP512 ST and MP522 ST Projectors

BenQ has announced the release of two new projectors for their mainstream line. The MP512 ST and MP522 ST both use DLP technology and are also both light weight, weighing less than 5 lbs. The MP512 ST features 2200 ANSI lumens and SVGA (800 x 600) resolution. It also has a 2500:1 contrast ratio for deep, rich, black levels. The MP512 also comes with a variety of connections including HDMI, RGB, component, s-video, and composite. It also comes with dual 5 watt stereo speakers. The MP522 ST is not as powerful as the MP512 model. It features 2000 ANSI lumens and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. However, it does have a better XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. The MP522 does not come with an HDMI input, but it does have a RGB, composite, component, s-video, and audio connections. Both projectors can be ordered through the BenQ website. The MP512 ST will sell for $699, while the MP522 ST’s retail price has not been released yet.
