Chinavision Releases CVSL-112 Mobile Phone Projector

It looks like Chinavision has stolen from 3M the chance to be the first pocket projector available to the US. Chinavision has recently released their phone projector, the CVSL-112. The projector is mounted at the top of the phone and uses LCD display technology to project VGA (640 x 480) resolution. The projector is also able to display up to a 50 inch display from only 5 feet away. The phone portion of this device has a menu that looks similar to the iPhone’s menu. It uses touch screen technology via your fingers or a pull out pen located at the bottom of the phone. The CVSL-112 also comes with an internal SD card and Bluetooth connectivity. The CVSL-112 also comes with a camera that can record both photographs and video. This device allows you to play media that is on your phone or you can connect to other devices with the USB connection. It also comes with an AV out connection. The phone is powered by two internal Li-ion rechargeable batteries. The batteries allow you to use the projector for up to 2 hours, which is more than enough for full length movies or office presentations. The batteries can be recharged through the USB connection or the common wall charger. The CVSL-112 is currently available to order through Chinavision and retails for under $370.

Hi- its Steve from England, i have had this phone in my possesion for 2 weeks now and the projection is amazing.
I have tried photo ,video even guitar hero 3 all project well and beyond the limits mentioned as far as screen size stated in the handbook.
The touch screen is nice to use one battery can be charged within the phone and another in the cradle.
However sometimes whilst loading from my computer the jpeg picture files will not load as it states the picture file is to large ,i have also had this with mp4 and gp3 i think approx about 50% of the time. i have watched a 50 minute documentory in projection mode.I would say the handbook is very limited in information apart from the basics.
For a first projection phone in mass production its pretty good
Every one i show are amazed at the phone and indeed the price.
I have not yet used the phone on the internet via wap.
