Sanyo Announces LP-Z3000 Projector

Sanyo is announcing what they call their most advanced projector yet, the LP-Z3000. The Z3000 is designed to bring the cinema to your home theater with full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and 1200 ANSI lumens. Its main feature is the ‘Dynamic Predictive Frame Interpolation technology’. This feature utilizes speeds of 120Hz to create the industry’s first 5:5 pull down mode. This mode creates smooth video projection even during high motion scenes. This feature is also paired with a 65000:1 contrast ratio which generates jet-black color reproduction. The Z3000 is also one of the quietest home theater projectors ever designed. It has an estimated noise level of 19 dB, which allows the users to hear even the most quiet and sensitive scenes. When it comes to connections the Z3000 is more than prepared. In has dual HDMI and dual component connections as well as RGB and RCA audio and video. The LP-Z3000 is expected to release November 28th, but unfortunately it will only release in Japan. The Z3000 will retail for ¥483,000 (about $4588).
