Last week we wrote about three new projectors from Epson, the Powerlite Pro Cinema 7500 UB, PowerLite Pro Cinema 7100, and the PowerLite Home Cinema 6100. Epson has announced that one more projector will be joining this group, the PowerLite Home Cinema 6500 UB. This projector feature 3LCD display technology and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. It will also be fitted with Epson’s new 200 watt E-TORL lamp, which will be able to display 1600 ANSI lumens. This projector also has quiet 22 dB noise level which allows users to listen to the movie, not the projector. The 6500 UB will also include an on-board Silicon Optix Reon-X video processor for enhanced upconvertion and deinterlacing of both standard and high definition interlaced material and converts it to a high definition 1080p output signal. The 6500 UB is expected to be released around December and is estimated to retail for under $4000. Just in time for the holidays.
