Apple iShow Micro Projector: For all Your iPods, iPhones, and MacBooks

ishow_a1.jpg

It looks like Apple is developing a micro projector of there very own. The iShow was specifically designed for Apple’s line of iPods, iPhones and MacBooks. The chassis consists of two disks that need to be pulled apart to show main part of the projector. Pulling apart the disks turns on the iShow and allows you to see the connections and the lens. The connections for the iShow include a USB connection, a composite video slot, and Apples proprietary video input socket. The iShow uses an LED light for illumination, although the amount of lumens it can produce has not been released. The projector is also expected to show images up to 60 inches, diagonally on any wall you point it to. The iShow is also expected to be energy efficient. The only concern that is presented with this model is that in order to display images the iShow is positioned on the round side of the chassis, which means it could easily role away when not connected to anything. More information will be released as it becomes available.
