Microsoft Surface Used to Show Election

MSNBC is one of the most honored news organizations that combine breaking news, original journalism, extensive sources, advanced technology and expansive content to provide their audience with a full spectrum of news. Recently they decided to show the US election predictions with the use of bobble head dolls. The Obama and McCain bobble head dolls were used with a Microsoft Surface that has been given to the news station. The Microsoft Surface has all the election information preprogrammed, allowing for quick and easy use for the reporters. Depending on which doll you place on the Microsoft Surface, the state map shows which states favor that candidate and which states do not. The Microsoft Surface also has several other quick indicator toys, in addition to the dolls, that the news caster uses to show updates in the election. One of the features for this Surface console allows the news casters to draw on the display to highlight sections for the viewers. They can also click on individual states to show specific information. Another feature that was added was a program that lets them show results if certain states voted for different candidates. This program allows the news caster to flick the states to either the Obama or McCain side and the Surface instantly shows the results. This allows MSNBC to show live coverage faster and easier than in previous years.
