Epson PowerLite Pro Cinema 7100 and 7500UB on Display at CEDIA 08

Epson is joining the home theater projector parade at CEDIA with two new models, the PowerLite Pro Cinema 7100 and PowerLite Pro Cinema 7500UB. Both projectors will use 3LCD display technology to deliver excellent full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The PowerLite Pro Cinema 7100 will be the first to come out in November. It will display 1800 ANSI lumens and an 18000:1 contrast ratio. The PowerLite Pro Cinema 7500UB will be released in December and it will be worth the wait. When released, it will feature 1600 ANSI lumens and a 75000:1 contrast ratio. The 7500UB will also be able to display over 68 billion colors thanks to a dramatically increased color gamut. Both the 7100 and 7500UB will be fitted with the newest 200W E-TORL lamp that provides a long lasting 4000 hour lamp life. They will also have a brand new air flow system that not only reduces cool-down time but reduces the projectors’ overall noise level to 22 dB. Both the 7100 and 7500UB will be on display at the CEDIA Expo and are expected to retail for less than $3000 and $4500, respectively.
