Elite Screens is one of the leading developers and distributers of high quality projector screens. Recently they announced the release of their latest screen fabric they call StarBright. This ultra bright fabric has 15 gain, which means your projector’s brightness level (measured in ANSI lumens) will be magnified 15 times. StarBright also uses an advanced high contrast filter that boosts black levels and enhancing the overall contrast of the image. Elite stated in a press release, “Our StarBright material has a reflectivity that is so bright, and absorbs ambient light so effectively, that even lower-lumen projectors can create a fabulous image in either a dark or well-lit room.” The material uses an advanced layer made of highly reflective material that is evenly spread across the material. This reflective layer is what gives the material its ultra brightness. The StarBright fabric is currently available and will able to fit any screen between 84 to 800 inches, diagonally, and can fit either 4:3 or 16:9 format.
