Texas Instrument was showing their latest Pico Projector prototype at IFA this weekend. Their design will be used and sold through Optoma and Toshiba. The Pico projector is able to display up to WVGA (854 x 480) resolution and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Also judging from the video and pictures the projector is bright enough to use in brightly lit rooms. It is also expected to come with a 0.5 watt speaker, which will make this device mobile in every way. The battery is also expected to run for a couple of hours although the actual time was not released yet. Hit the link below to see a video of the Pico projector in action.
