Planar has recently announced the release of their newest projector, the Viper. This model comes in with HD (1280 x 720) resolution with the ability to scale up to full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The feature that makes the Viper unique is that it is the first projector from Planar to have 3-chip DLP display technology and HD resolution. The Viper also feature 2000 ANSI lumens and a 10000:1 contrast ratio which is will make any movie experience a great one. It comes with dual HDMI inputs as well as composite, component, s-video and RGB connections. The Viper also has five lenses to choose from, four optional and the standard lens, to accommodate all your room needs. The Viper will be on display at the CEDIA Expo in Denver and retails for $15495.
