Musion Eyeliner 3D Holigraphic Projection System Displays for Orchestra

The Musion Eyeliner Holographic Projection System is one of the most amazing holographic display systems today. You may have read about some of the things they have done including teleconferencing, concerts, and, more recently, demonstrated a holographic multi-touch system. Recently, the company has used their eyeliner system for an orchestra concert. In the video you can see the orchestra playing an eerie sound as a ghost mysteriously appears and dances several feet above the stage. This effect is achieved by having a glass plate on stage acting as a projection screen. The system uses projectors to project the image onto the glass, giving onlookers the appearance that the image is floating. The images can also be shown in 3D and requires no audience props, like 3D glasses. The Eyeliner system also has the ability to transform 2D images, from movies or TV shows, into 3D images on the screen.[via Dimensional Studios]
