Vutec Corporation has recently announced a new projection screen they will be displaying at CEDIA 08. The SoundScreen was designed based on Blu Ray Technology and 1080p high definition projectors. The screen is made of a curl free durable vinyl coated woven fabric that eliminates the need for tensioning. Vutec compares the fabric to high quality speaker cloth that can also enhance the brightness of your projector. The SoundScreen allows the user to be able to put their sound system behind the screen with out the worries or troubles of having their sound muffled or dulled. The screen also has a reflective coating that makes the screen’s texture disappear while in use. Unfortunately, price and release date for the SoundScreen has not been released yet.
