Barco, a technology leader in virtual reality, has recently installed a three sided 3D stereo display wall at Miele’s Gütersloh headquarters. The MegaCADWall is equipped with eight Barco Galaxy 7 Classic+ projectors that are specifically designed for 3D Stereo projection. The Galaxy 7 Classic+ feautres 3-chip DLP technology along with 7000 ANSI lumens and SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) resolution. It will also use Barco’s XDS-1000 display management system to make sure all the projectors are in sync and displaying with their optimal settings. The visualization system will be used as a collaboration center, a presentation display, and an immersive virtual reality environment. Mieli is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of household equipment.
