Dr. Gary Mohr Displays Expedition at St. Thomas More Hospital

Dr. Gary Mohr is probably one of the most courageous people you will ever meet. He recently returned from a trip to Mount Everest. He didn’t go to Everest for the thrill but to provide medical equipment to the base camp hospital. He not brought the equipment, but he also raised all the money for the expedition himself. A lot of the equipment he got as donations from nearby hospitals, but just under half of the supplies needed for the trip came out of his pocket. When the trip was over, the unused hospital supplies that he brought with him was given to a local hospital in Nepal. Now Mohr has been going from hospital to hospital displaying his experience with the help of two projectors. The first will be displaying all the photos that he took during his exploration. The second will be running Google Earth map to show the path he took to get to the camp and display other geological facts about Mount Everest.

The doctor’s comments about the proposed tax increase were very brave and needed to be said! It’s time for the people to say, “Enough already!” and Dr. Mohr is a leader in that charge toward sanity. Thanks, man.
