The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9138 recently got a digital upgrade to their facility. The post received wireless internet access, HDTVS, a digital projector and a video distribution system that allows people to send information to each other throughout the building. The new upgrades make post 9138 the most technological advanced post in the VFW. The building has become so advanced in fact that Post Senior Vice President John Marker could not find another post that had similar features. Because of this the post has decided to turn their building into a multimedia center for their community. People are allowed to rent out the equipment and use their wireless internet. All of these upgrades have cost Post 9138 approximately $3500 in total and all of it was collected through fundraisers and private donations.
