Lightspeed Design is one of the leading researchers of 3D projectors. Recently they worked with InFocus to develop two new projectors that can display 3D images with the use of only one lens. The DepthQ-WXGA and DepthQ-XGA share many specifications. Both feature DLP display technology, 2000 ANSI lumens, and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The only difference between the two projectors is their resolution. The DepthQ-WXGA displays a widescreen WXGA (1280 x 720) resolution where as the DepthQ-XGA has an XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. Both projectors are also the firsts to be able to display 3D images and be light enough to be mobile, weighing less than 7 lbs. The DepthQ-WXGA and DepthQ-XGA are also affordable, expected to retail for less than $6000.
