BenQ SP870 and SP920 Projectors Released

BenQ has recently announced two new projectors that will be joining their stationary projector line. The SP870 and SP920 both use the latest in DLP display technology. They also both display native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The SP870 is the smaller of the two, weighing just under 11 lbs. It features 5000 ANSI lumens and is HDTV compatible. It also comes with a variety of connections including RGB, DVI, s-video, composite, and component inputs. It also has a USB connection for easy control while connected to a PC. The SP920 has a much brighter 6000 ANSI lumens display. It also weighs over twice as much as the SP870, weighing 24 lbs. The SP920 is also HDTV compatible and comes with an HDMI input, as well as the others the SP870 has. The SP920 also has dual 5 watt stereo speakers for your listening enjoyment. Both the SP870 and SP920 are available through BenQ’s website. Retail prices are on a need to know basis.
