The Acer H5350 projector is your standard HDMI projector. It features 2000 ANSI lumens and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. It comes with full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and is light enough to be carried from one room to the other, weighing 5.1 lbs. The writers at Trusted Reviews had the opportunity to review the H5350 to see how good this model is. The original price for the H5350 was retailed at about £900 (about $1800), but now the Acer is selling this projector for £421 (about $840). This severe price cut made the reviewers wonder why Acer is selling their projector for a ridiculously cheap price. The main problem with this device was that the DLP ‘rainbow effect’ was extremely visible in the display. Their final thoughts about the H5350 were, “The way I see it, you have two options. First you can try and find £500 more cash for the much superior InFocus X10. Or secod, you can try and find some way of test driving an H5350 to see how much the rainbow effect bothers you. If you are troubled by the rainbow effect, Our ‘6′ mark for picture be more like a 5. Whereas if you’re not bothered by it all, you could just about raise the mark to a 7, especially if you’re thinking about it in the context of other projectors in it’s price range.”
