Samsung announced last week that they will be releasing two new projectors soon, the A400 and D300. The D300 is the smaller of the two. It features 3000 ANSI lumens and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. The D300 also has a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. This model is expected to retail for just under $1000. The A400 has a slightly weaker 2000 ANSI lumens and a 2500:1 contrast ratio. However, it has the wider WXGA (1280 x 768) resolution. The A400 can also run at a 28 dB noise level in theater mode. The A400 also will retail for $1099. Both models also have RGB, HDMI, composite, component, and s-video connections.
